As architectural geometry, descriptive geometry deals with the geometric understanding of space, geometric design criteria of forms and structures as well as their representation. Geometry provides essential basics for architecture to generate forms and structures and to represent them. Geometric imaging methods such as parallel and central projection make it possible to develop drawings and visualizations of rooms, buildings and surroundings as well as details for conveying architecture. The different architectural representations are tested in their possibilities in order to become aware of their properties and parameters.
