Designs of the students: Svenja Brehm and Christine Chen; Nataliia Kovalenko; Rebecca Buchwald, Cihangir Kazan and Pascal Malschofsky; Nina Gusenburger and Dominik Diehl; Dorota Rudowicz and Jannis Rickertsen; Celine Lahaye and Arutiun Papikian; Salina Damer and Anna-Sophia Ehringer; Anes Hajdar and Julius-Emanuel Negrea; Carolin Schreiner and Christian Izabayo

According to the motto "PerForm", the aim of the seminar was to bring more movement into sitting. For this purpose, seating furniture was designed that moves or stimulates movement. The designs created in cooperation between the Department of Descriptive Geometry and Perspective of the Department of Architecture and CampusPlus were realized in teams and placed as part of the outdoor learning rooms on the TUK campus. Competencies in the digital chain were acquired - from 3D modeling to materialization with the help of robot-controlled processing.

In the design process, digital tools supported the creative work. There were workshops on the CAD software Rhinoceros and Grasshopper as well as on graphics programs. The focus was on understanding and controlled handling of geometry. Additional course content provided an overview of digital display methods such as the creation of vector graphics, visualizations and the interface to computer-aided model making.

Before the beginning of the semester, we worked out the basics of 3D modeling in a block course, in order to then design urban seating furniture in the semester, which was then built by a team in 1: 1 with the help of the robot.
